Who Bridges Serves

Youth interested in Bridges should:

• Be between 17-24 years old
• Have an IEP, 504 Plan, or other documentation of a disability
• Produce proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Be eager to work
• Have a positive attitude
• Be willing to follow an employer’s rules
• Be motivated to do well every day
• Be open to having a professional mentor guide him/her through the employment process
• Be able to get to and from work independently

Bridges can serve youth with any type of disability who have potential for competitive, unsubsidized employment.
